Care for your mediation beads the same way you care for your gemstone/silver jewellery. Using a mild soap, clean your prayer beads in warm soapy water and rinse under warm running water. Dry with a soft cloth. The sterling silver chain links can be brightened up with a jewellery polishing cloth. Silver is a relatively soft metal - be gentle with the handmade silver links when polishing.

Chemical dips and ultrasonic cleaning are not suitable for gemstones and may damage the stones.

 

Your meditation beads are constructed in a traditional chain link method, and are made to withstand regular gentle handling and use. Avoid pulling on your prayer beads when you take them out of your pocket, or purse. Carry them in the black velour pouch provided with your order to help protect them.

If you store them away for a time, consider storing them in a plastic pouch or a jewellery box along with an anti-tarnish strip to help keep the silver from tarnishing.

Your prayer beads contain many small parts, are not suitable for children, and should be kept out of reach of small children.
